Slow Cooker Honey and Rosemary Bread


Serves a party

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 ½ cups lukewarm water

  • 1 package active dry yeast (2 ¼ tsp)

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 tbsp. salt

  • 1-2 tbsps honey

  • 1 bunch fresh rosemary


DIRECTIONS:

In one bowl, mix active dry yeast and lukewarm water and stir, and leave alone for 10 minutes. Then, take flour In a separate bowl and gradually pour in yeast mixture until all flour is incorporated. Knead the dough for 4-5 minutes, adding honey, and place in a warm area for 2-3 hours.


Take slow cooker and place parchment paper. Place risen dough in the center and cook on ‘high’ for 2.5 hours. Once the bread is complete, place in broiler to brown the top and serve.
